For a long time, the pastoralist community members are in an isolated situation, being apart from the societal race, and wandering around the fields. However, in spite of various difficulties they rear their cows, sheep’s and buffaloes by practicing their conservative grazing techniques to increase the land productivity and also they greatly contribute towards chemical less farming.
The main agenda of thozhuvam is to prevent the breakage of natural environment chain and to safeguard it. To rescue the traditional grazing methods, this is being the sole reason for biodiversity enhancement. To improvise the livelihood of the pastoralist community members, and with the support of NABARD-MABIF, thozhuvam farmer Producer Company has been started.

காலங்காலமாக தனித்த சூழலில், சமூக பொது ஓட்டத்திற்கு அப்பாற்பட்டு, அலைந்து திரியும் மேய்ச்சல் சமூகத்தினர் பல்வேறு சிரமங்களுக்கிடையே கிடை மாடு, கிடை ஆடு, எருமை மாடுகளை பாரம்பரிய மேய்ச்சல் தொழில்நுட்ப முறையை பின்பற்றி நிலங்களை வளப்படுத்துவதோடு, நஞ்சில்லா விவசாயம் செய்யவும் தொடர்ந்து உதவி செய்து வருகிறார்கள்.
இயற்கையின் இணைப்புச் சங்கிலி அறுபடாமல் பாதுகாத்துக்கொண்டு, பல்லுயிர் பெருக்கத்திற்கு அடிப்படை காரணமாக இருக்கும் பாரம்பரிய மேய்ச்சல் தொழிலை மீட்கவும், மேய்ச்சல் சமூகத்தினர் வாழ்வு மேம்பட நபார்டு வங்கி (NABARD-MABIF) உதவியுடன் தொழுவம் உழவர் உற்பத்தியாளர் நிறுவனம் உருவாக்கபட்டது.
